A Call to Action:

Why Biodiversity Must Be a Priority in the Next EU Strategic Agenda and Budget

Join us for an important discussion on the crucial role of the EU in protecting nature by providing continued financial and political support to biodiversity.

Members of the European Parliament, international experts, local community representatives from Kenya, and representatives from the European Commission and IFAW will present achievements and explain why it is vital to keep supporting efforts to safeguard nature.

Panelists will urge the European Parliament to support nature-based solutions and wildlife protection as vessels for climate change mitigation and adaptation, one of the main priorities in the new EU strategic agenda.

Using real examples, we’ll show how investing in biodiversity can help build a greener, stronger Europe. This event is a chance to share ideas, learn from experts, and help shape Europe’s environmental future and role in the upcoming drafting of the new EU budget (MFF).
